Internship programme
Three tracks. Real work from the first week.
You will not be given a detached practice project. You will be given something in the codebase, a review of what you write, and the reasoning behind every correction — which is the part that actually makes someone an engineer.
Software Development
Building and maintaining the web and mobile software we deliver to clients, and the products we run ourselves.
What the track involves
Implementing features across the stack, from the data model to the screen
Writing the tests that let the next change be made safely
Fixing real defects in software that people are using today
Reading an existing codebase well enough to change it without breaking it
AI & Automation
Applying language models and automation to remove measurable manual effort — and recognising the cases where they should not be used.
What the track involves
Building retrieval over a company's own documents and evaluating whether the answers hold up
Extraction and classification pipelines that run against messy real inputs
Automating the handoffs between systems that people currently do by hand
Measuring whether an AI feature actually beat the boring alternative
Sales & Digital Marketing
Reaching the businesses our software is actually for, and explaining it in terms they recognise.
What the track involves
Researching sectors and building a picture of who has the problem we solve
Writing and testing outreach that sounds like a person rather than a template
Content and search work for the site, measured on whether it brings the right enquiries
Sitting close enough to the engineering to describe the product accurately
The terms
What we are not promising.
Duration, working pattern, any stipend and any certification are agreed with each applicant and confirmed in writing before anything begins. We have not fixed those terms in advance, so we are not going to advertise them here — ask us, and you will get a straight answer rather than a number we might have to walk back.
Apply
Send us an application.
Pick a track, tell us how to reach you, and point us at something you have made. Nothing else is required.
