Custom Software & ERP Development
Software shaped to the business, not the other way round.
Off-the-shelf systems ask you to change your process to match their assumptions. When the process is the thing that makes you competitive, that is a bad trade. We build around how the work is actually done.
What people come to us with
The situation before the solution
The spreadsheet one person maintains
It works, it has grown for years, and it lives on one laptop. When that person is on leave, the week gets harder for everybody.
Three systems, three different numbers
Accounts, stock and sales each hold a version of the same figure. Meetings start with deciding which one to believe.
No view of the floor until month end
Job status lives on paper cards and in people's heads. By the time a delay is visible in a report, the customer has already called.
An off-the-shelf ERP that was abandoned
It was bought, partly configured, and quietly worked around because entering data correctly took longer than the job itself.
Capabilities
What the work covers
Manufacturing operations
Job cards, work orders, routing, material consumption and production visibility — modelled on your actual shop floor sequence rather than a generic template.
Inventory and stock control
Multi-location stock, reorder points, batch and serial tracking, and the adjustments and write-offs that real warehouses need.
Purchase and sales workflows
Enquiry to quotation to order to dispatch to invoice, with the approval steps your business actually enforces.
HRMS and internal operations
Attendance, leave, staff records and the internal approvals that otherwise travel by WhatsApp.
Customer and vendor portals
A place for the people outside your company to see order status and submit documents, so the phone rings less.
Roles, permissions and audit
Who may see what, who changed what and when — the part that is painful to retrofit and cheap to build in from the start.
How we approach it
The order we do things in, and why
- 01
Watch the work where it happens
On the floor, at the desk, beside the person doing it. The gap between the documented process and the real one is where most ERP projects fail.
- 02
Model the data before the screens
What is a job, an order, a batch, a customer in your business specifically. Get this wrong and every screen afterwards fights it.
- 03
Agree the screens on paper
Cheap to change at this stage, expensive later. We settle the main flows before writing the application.
- 04
Build in short cycles
You see working software early and often, and we correct course against your reaction rather than a specification written months ago.
- 05
Migrate, train, then run alongside
Existing data moved and reconciled, each role trained on their part, and the old method kept available until the new one has earned the trust.
Technologies
What we typically build this with
Questions
Things people ask first
Only where the current method is genuinely causing the problem, and we will say so plainly when it is. The default is that the software adapts to you — that is the whole reason to build rather than buy.
Usually yes, through an integration or a reconciled export, depending on what that software exposes. We check this during discovery and tell you what is possible before you commit, rather than discovering it late.
It is migrated and reconciled against your figures so you can see the new system agrees with the old one. Messy historical data is normal; cleaning rules are agreed with you rather than applied silently.
You do. You get the source, the database and the deployment setup. We would rather you stay because the work is good than because leaving is hard.
It is built to be extended — documented, tested and conventional, so another team could pick it up. We also offer ongoing maintenance, but that should be a choice, not a dependency.
It depends entirely on scope, and anyone quoting a number before seeing your process is guessing. What we can commit to is showing you something working early, so the timeline becomes visible rather than promised.
