This Privacy Policy explains how Aitulya Private Limited(“Aitulya”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our products and services, including ShowShelf. By using the Services, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information — the email address you sign in with.
  • Business details — business name, WhatsApp/phone number, address, city, and GST number (if you provide it), which appear on your published catalogues.
  • Catalogue content — product names, descriptions, prices, and images/videos you upload.
  • Payment information — processed by Razorpay. We receive confirmation of payment and plan details; we do not collect or store your card or bank account numbers.
  • Technical & usage data — such as log data, device/browser information, and cookies necessary to operate the Services.

2. Enquiry and application forms on aitulya.com

Separately from the Services, this website has forms you can use to contact us about a project or to apply for an internship. They collect only what you type into them:

  • Project enquiries — your name and email address, and optionally your company name and a description of what you are trying to solve.
  • Internship applications— your name, email address and chosen track, and optionally your phone number, course or institution, a link to a résumé or profile, and a message. We do not accept file uploads; a link is yours to revoke.

A submission is sent to us as an email and nothing more. It is not stored in a database, not added to a marketing list, not used to train any model and not shared with anyone outside Aitulya. It passes through the email provider that delivers our mail, and then sits in our inbox.

To be clear about what we do with an internship application: a person at Aitulya reads it and assesses it— your résumé link, what you have built and what you tell us are all reviewed, compared with other applications, and used to decide whether to take yours forward. That assessment is made by a person, not by an automated screening or scoring tool. A project enquiry is read the same way, to work out how to reply to you.

We keep these emails for as long as the conversation or the application process is reasonably live, and we will delete them sooner on request — email contact@aitulya.com and say which submission you mean.

To limit automated abuse, the forms record a one-way hash of the sending IP address in memory for a short period, purely to count recent submissions. The address itself is not written to our logs, and the counter is discarded when the process restarts.

3. How we use your information

  • to provide, maintain and improve the Services;
  • to create and secure your account and process your payments;
  • to publish the catalogues and business details you choose to make public;
  • to send you service-related communications (e.g. sign-in links, receipts, important notices);
  • to comply with legal obligations and prevent misuse.

4. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who help us run the Services — Razorpay (payments), Supabase (database, media storage and authentication), and Vercel (hosting) — under their own terms and safeguards.
  • The public, to the extent you publish a catalogue: the business details and product content in a published catalogue are intentionally public and viewable by anyone with the link.
  • Authorities, where required by law or to protect our rights and users.

5. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data (see “Your rights” below).

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent where processing is based on it. To exercise these rights, email contact@aitulya.com.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Services. Disabling essential cookies may prevent the Services from working correctly.

9. Children

The Services are intended for users aged 18 and over and are not directed to children.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
